The former president's Granddaughter Gets Professional Tips from Golf Legend Woods Before LPGA First Appearance

Young golfer getting ready for significant tournament

This young athlete maintains substantial social media audience

The young golfer will have multiple prominent supporters as she begins her first LPGA appearance later this week.

This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, was granted a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika tournament in Florida.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, operates several international courses and frequently plays against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we play competitive games," she stated.

She mentioned that Trump, unable to come, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."

"My grandpa practically advised me to compete and enjoy myself," she explained.

"In my eyes, he's simply an ordinary family member. He's not attending for the tournament. He's occupied with running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."

Being non-professional, Kai has played in a mere three competitions this year and maintains the 461st position in AJGA listings.

Yet she's able to get advice from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He represents the best player globally," Kai stated.

"And he's a more impressive human being. He suggested me to go out there, have fun, adapting to the flow."

The golfer will compete against multiple most prominent players in women's golf at this tournament, including world number two Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Officials mentioned that involving Kai exposes golf to wider groups, specifically among youth audiences.

The young star boasts substantial online presence and recently launched a personal fashion and living label.

The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
